Date: From Saturday June 19 2010 to Wednesday June 30
Place of residence: Edinburgh Conference Centre
The first three days (June 20-June 22) a fieldtrip will take place organised by the local students. From Wednesday on the formal part will start with lectures, project work and thesis presentations by the second master year students.
On Monday June 28 the 'Best practices in Photonics education' workshop will take place in parallel with the summer school.

Call for applications
The 2010 call for applications (academic year 2010-2012) will open in September/October 2010.
The application deadline for non-EU students is the January 1 2011.
The application deadline for EU students is May 05 2011.
